Strong readers are created when they have fun, can relax, and enjoy literature. In this 4 week class, learners will gain reading skills through our multi-sensory approach by listening to fairy tales via read-alouds, retelling stories via dramatic play, and gaining confidence in their comprehension by making fun felt characters. Our Play, Learn, Grow methodology is employed through use of movement games for kinesthetic learners, activities to build empathy via a social-emotional connection to the characters, and in our use of multi-sensory approaches so all learners can benefit.
